Instructions
  1. Place chopped onion and oil in a large saute pan over medium heat. Cook until softened, around 10 minutes.
  2. While onions are cooking, blend tomatoes until completely broken down.
  3. Add blended tomatoes and everything else into the pan.
  4. Simmer over low heat until well thickened, about an hour.
  5. Remove from heat and allow to cool for about 10 minutes.
  6. Pour mixture into blender and puree until completely smooth.
  7. Allow to cool to room temperature and then pour into plastic squeeze bottle.
  8. Store in refrigerator. Will keep for up to 3 weeks if well-sealed.
